HICOB LED and Light Engine Technology 

At the heart of each Lumishore underwater light lies the extremely compact, yet exceptionally powerful Lumishore HICOB 3rd Generation LED system. A long history of research and development has allowed Lumishore to develop its HICOB array technology (High Intensity Chip on Board). The Lumishore HICOB LED array produces the equivalent amount of light to larger earlier generation LED products but at 1/3 of the size. This is combined with our own in-house advanced LED light engine expertise to bring you the ultimate lighting package.

 This reduction in size allows the underwater device to be compact without compromise in optical power. The HICOB format makes use of the very latest ceramic substrate materials and flip chip technology to increase die efficiency. The HICOB array solution can be configured to many power levels over a range of wavelength colour combinations. The result is an LED array with a power density far greater than any other underwater lighting product on the market.

Product Development 

No product can be brought to life in a vacuum; the Lumishore design process is wholly-based upon customer feedback and suggestions. Our in-house design team then work on integrating the lighting technologies into state-of-the-art patented underwater housing. A very simple premise -- Surpass Customer Expectations.
