SOFTWARE UPDATES

Lumishore provides regular software updates to our product range. We highly recommend that our customers carry out these updates to optimize performance, maintain functionality and remain compatible across a wide range of platforms.

Lumishore’s software updates operate through our OTA feature (“over-the-air”).

The OTA feature allows the system to update using a connected laptop or PC. The system can be updated without the loss of settings and user data. To update the software using a laptop or PC, download the relevant files for the latest software and save the files to the desktop. Once your device is connected to the Command Center via Wi-Fi, you can upload the software to the Command Center then apply the update by selecting the Update Firmware option.

The process can take 30-50 minutes so please allow enough time. Lumishore recommends using a laptop or PC for this feature with power saving features and screen saver turned off.
